Chapter 1964 - 1937: Qiu Tianrui’s Phone Call

Just as Bai Zhiqing was about to get fully dressed, Lu Tianxing suddenly sat up from bed, quickly dressed himself, and stood in front of Bai Zhiqing.

Bai Zhiqing was completely stunned by this scene. This scoundrel dared to trick her! It seemed she had to make him sleep on the sofa tonight to teach him a lesson, or else this jerk might think he can get away with anything.

Seeing Bai Zhiqing’s puffed-up face, Lu Tianxing chuckled, "Wife, why are you looking at me like that? I’m telling you, if you don’t get up soon, that vixen Rose might burst in. If she sees something, who knows what she might think?"

When Rose heard footsteps behind her, she put the newspaper aside, turned toward the sound, and upon seeing Lu Tianxing, said with a sarcastic tone, "Oh wow, Third Young Master Lu, you finally decided to get up! I thought you were waiting for someone to serve you two lovebirds, maybe even brush your teeth for you."

"Uh!"

Hearing Rose’s sarcastic words, Lu Tianxing couldn’t help but show a wry smile on his face.

"I’ve been up for a while..."

As Lu Tianxing spoke, he walked towards the sofa and sat across from Rose.

"What, you’ve been up for a while?"

Hearing Lu Tianxing’s words, Rose looked at him with surprise, "Does that mean you and Zhiqing had morning exercises together? Ugh, if I had known, I would have gone to check it out."

Lu Tianxing was speechless. He really wanted to pry open Rose’s head to see what was going on inside.

"Come on, tell me, was the battle intense this morning? How many rounds did you go?"

Rose looked at Lu Tianxing like a curious baby.

Lu Tianxing remained silent, saying nothing. This was something you can’t talk about or explain; otherwise, he was sure this vixen Rose would take it further.

"Not talking? No problem, I can check for myself to see how many rounds you went last night."

As she finished speaking, Rose stood up from the sofa and sat directly on Lu Tianxing’s lap, naturally wrapping her arms around his neck.

Instantly, a fragrant scent hit Lu Tianxing’s nose, making him feel a surge of emotion. Although he relieved some tension with Bai Zhiqing last night, she’s just one person after all. These past few days, being teased by Lin Yafei and the others, he still had a lot of unspent energy. Now, with a beauty in his arms, it seemed like a fire was about to ignite again.

Rose’s right hand moved down from Lu Tianxing’s neck, as if searching for a place, slowly moving down his chest...

"Rose, don’t mess around."

Lu Tianxing was startled by Rose’s actions and quickly grabbed her hand. Bai Zhiqing was upstairs and might come down any moment. He didn’t want her to see this, even if Bai Zhiqing knew about his relationship with Rose.

"How am I messing around? Don’t you want to taste me?"

Rose pouted at Lu Tianxing, her voice seductive to the extreme, like a kitten in heat, charming to the core.

Lu Tianxing frowned, "Rose, you know Zhiqing is here..."

Before Lu Tianxing could finish, Rose interrupted, "But I want to have a baby with you right now."

"Rose, can you let me go?"

"No."

Listening to Rose’s words, Lu Tianxing fell silent, not knowing how to respond.

Hearing Rose’s firm words again, Lu Tianxing opened his mouth to speak, but then he heard a melodious ringtone from his phone in his pocket.

Upon hearing the sound, Rose glanced at Lu Tianxing but said nothing more and slowly got off of him, sitting to the side.

Watching Rose leave, Lu Tianxing secretly sighed in relief. He took his phone out of his pocket, and upon seeing the caller ID, he was slightly taken aback.

"What’s wrong, who’s calling?" Rose asked when she saw the change in Lu Tianxing’s expression.

"It’s a call from Qiu Tianrui."

Lu Tianxing looked at Rose then answered the call. Just after he picked up, Qiu Tianrui’s magnetic voice came through.

"Mr. Lu, how’s your health? You should be almost recovered by now."

"Thanks to Young Master Qiu, I’m almost fully recovered."

Lu Tianxing said with a light smile, "Young Master Qiu, what brings you to call today? Surely you’re not inviting me for a meal!"

"Hahaha, Mr. Lu, it seems we are on the same wavelength. I did call to invite you for a meal today, but I wonder if you’d honor me with your presence?"

"An invitation from Young Master Qiu? I’d make time even if I didn’t have any."

Lu Tianxing laughed and said, "Young Master Qiu, just set the time, and I’ll be there promptly."

"Mr. Lu, how about this evening?"

Qiu Tianrui’s tone carried a hint of seeking approval.

"No problem, as long as you’re treating, anytime works for me."

"Hahaha, Mr. Lu, you’re straightforward. I’ll let you know the exact location later."

"Okay, I’ll be waiting for your call, Young Master Qiu."

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, they hung up.
